Another Musical Co-Op
Pacific TheatreA revue of some of Kander & Ebb’s most celebrated songs and a few rarely performed gems, “The World Goes ‘Round” became one of the biggest hits of the summer season in Vancouver.
I played Man #1 in this five person ensemble show produced by a co-op. Incredible word of mouth and rave reviews from critics helped the show sell out the majority of it’s two week run.
Reviews
“Jeremy Crittenden is playfully confident” – Colin Thomas, The Georgia Straight
“Crittenden’s comedic chops are much in evidence for Sara Lee (concluding with a cute cakewalk by the ladies) and he proves capable of turning on a dime by breaking our hearts with Sometimes a Day Goes By (from Woman of the Year).” – Peter Birnie, The Vancouver Sun
About the Show
“Sometimes you’re happy and sometimes you’re sad – but the world goes ’round.” Life – with its glories, indignities, hopes and quiet dreams – is the subject of this stunning revue of the beloved songs of John Kander and Fred Ebb.
The vast range of human experience is explored in song after impeccable song by one of Broadway’s most daring and successful teams and masters of the heart-grabbing Broadway showstopper. This glittering revue features unforgettable gems from throughout their incredible career in theatre, film and television, spotlighting songs from “Cabaret;” “Chicago;” “New York, New York;” “Funny Lady;” “Kiss Of The Spiderwoman” and more.
